When i make call the caller id shows the account owners name with my phone number. How can this be corrected

Have the account owner log on to verizonwireless.com.  Under Manage Devices, on the right side of the screen, is a link for Share Name ID.  Each line on the account can be assigned the generic Wireless Caller, or a name, and the current setting is also shown.

Your name is currently displayed as "WIRELESS CALLER" on Caller ID enabled devices.

You have the option of selecting a Share Name ID to be displayed on devices with Caller ID enabled.

Your name may already appear if they have stored your number in their address book.

Your name may already appear to your callers if they have stored your number in their address books. Your name must contain at least one letter. Numbers are acceptable; however, your name cannot contain your mobile phone number and the first character cannot be a space. No special characters except: apostrophe, hyphen, comma, period, ampersand, and @-sign.

Please note that Share Name ID updates may take up to 24 hours to process.
