Calls being sent to external operater

This is only my second month with Verizon, my bill isn't due till the 28th of the month but I haven't been able to make a call or receive a call since Thursday. Each time I try to make a call it sends me to an automated message that says I'll be transferred to an external provider where I can pay to make a call. How can I fix this? I have tried to reset my network settings but that hasn't worked.

use a different device to call into verizon or take the device into a store for support. there is something with the provisioning (something in the network) with your line that needs to get fixed or refreshed.

Let's be sure we get the calls to work effectively. Can  you dial *73 just to make sure your calls are not forwarded in error? After you do that and try to make a call what happens?
Are you able to use the browser and text messaging?
