Calls dropping 19106 no matter where I am calling to

Verizon cell service is very expensive.  I have been loyal to it all these years as the cell service was reliable.  For the past month calls are dropping all the time.  Time of day does not matter.  It is not the phone I am using.  Why is this happening?
