All of my contacts were suddenly deleted- what do I do?

Let's make sure we find your contacts! What model phone are you currently using? Were there any changes made to the device recently? Have you checked your iCloud for any contacts? Please share a few more details so we can help discover a resolution. Thanks!

Somehow they all reappeared except for the most recent additions that weren't backed up- I lost several notes also and new calendar entries. I'm grateful the contacts reappeared and most of the other stuff as well. I don't know what triggered it. I turned the phone off and then back on and a few minutes, most of it came back.
