DIALING NUMBER TWICE IPHONE 5c

I recently ordered an iPhone 5c from Verizon. Every time I make a call I get an automated announcement saying to dial the ten digit number again without pressing send. It's vsry annoying because all my numbers are in my contacts and I don't have them memorized. How do I fix this problem?

I can certainly see how that can become annoying, Summershine420. Do you have Usage Controls http://vz.to/1BkMXtI or Family Base http://vz.to/1lP1hFj active for your line? Does this happen in a particular area/zip code?

No, I don't believe I have either one. The zip code I'm in is 41501. It happens every time and everywhere I've made a call.

Thank you for reaching for letting us know, Summershine420. Have you tried disabling Usage Controls temporarily to see if your calls return back to normal, to test?

I turned off my usage controls and it still asks me to dial again. I've only had this phone for a couple of weeks. I have unlimited talk and text. I don't make a lot of calls so I'm not sure at what point this started happening.

Thanks for trying this step for us! Are there any locations you are able to make a call without needing to dial again? Does dialing again work for you? Do you currently have Voice Roaming on? You can check in Settings>Cellular>Roaming and make sure Voice Roaming is green.

I just finished chatting w someone at customer service w Verizon. The problem is now fixed by resetting the network settings. Thanks for your help.
