yeah reboot the router and reset network settings. unbeknownst to you - you did actually use hulu on lte.
Nothing is magic, it's all explainable. If your phone switched to cellular for just 10 minutes on Hulu only 1 time, you could hit 75%. There is no warning, it switches when it doesn't have wifi, or there is a wifi hiccup. The only way to be sure is turn off cellular. It would be nice to have that option, but there is not. Most don't want it, but some would.
All it would take is interference, such as from a microwave oven which uses the same frequency area as wifi, to disconnect you temporarily without you noticing. It is really a fairly common thing and not the big issue you seem to think.
WIth cellular data off, you will see zero usage.
I Know it sucks getting 75% of your data used up on something you didn't want. Try calling Verizon, sometimes they will give you a one time credit. Good luck. Just trying to help you understand it a bit better.
