The Network Extender does not support VoLTE and Verizon Wireless does not yet support WiFi calling or a LTE-based Network Extender. Can you please work with Apple to work out bugs between the iPhone 6 w/ LTE Voice option enabled and the Network Extender? If this option is enabled, the phone will work very hard to prefer a very weak and barely usable LTE Voice signal over the strong Network Extender signal. I was obviously able to resolve this by disabling LTE voice, but this prevents me from making use of HD Audio and Voice/Data at the same time in every other location unless I manually change this option every single time I arrive home. With this option at home, my Network Extender is rendered useless as the majority of time it should be on the network extender, it attempts to make/receive voice calls over a barely functional LTE signal.

Completely agree. This is a huge oversight and renders my phone useless when I am around my network extender.

Network extenders don't support VoLTE because they don't support LTE period.

Yes, for sure and well aware, but the iPhone 6 should be capable of preferring a network extender over a garbage LTE signal without needing to manually disable LTE voice. There appears to be a SW bug. I would guess nobody bothered to test this pre release.

iPhones should be able to a lot of things they don't. Like not shut off wi-fi all the time and then people get huge data charges racked up.

Yes, I found that I have this same problem today. The only way I can get my iphone 6 to use my network extender is if I turn off LTE.
Would be nice if they came up with some type of fix for this.

What is there to fix? Network extenders are 3G only. Your phone can use either 3G or LTE not both. So there isn't a fix short of coming out with a network extender that work with LTE.

Perhaps such a fix as having the Iphone allow volte to be switched on but not in use. Shouldn't be too difficult. And it would save the user from having to manually adjust it back on after their extender session.

Seems like that's an issue for Apple.

Indeed it does.
