How do I get rid of duplicate contacts??

I upgraded from the iPhone 5 to the iphone 6 today and after adding all my apps to my new phone, my contacts have duplicated by about4 each! How do I fix it??

Oh my! Let's find out where those duplicates came from, MiaBelleRTR. Did you sync your iPhone through Outlook or an Exchange server or iCloud/iTunes? It's an older discussion, but Apple had some great steps at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1612476?start=0&tstart=0 regarding duplicate contacts that may help you as well. There's also some more recent steps at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203565 to help too.
