IF you purchased from the same store, I suspect a bad batch. This happened with the iPad too.
Return the defective phone and get a phone somewhere else.
Frog75, we want that new phone to be all that you were hoping for. Each and every phone comes with a 14 day worry free guarantee. This means, that it may be returned and replaced for new. As this has happened with two phones, I wonder if you are setting the phone up as new or restoring from a previous backup?

It's very funny that you mention that. Could you possibly explain how to enable vibrate on an apple tablet? Because if that's possible I'd like to know.
I Was referring to defective Apple devices, not the specific defect the OP posted.
SInce it interests you, the problem reported was a few years back with the iPad with retina screen and there was a defect causing a patch of yellow screen.
AT the time that iPad debuted, more than one customer posted on Apple forum that he had returned more than one iPad already! oddly enough they seemed to be from the same city.
It was not necessarily a Verizon or cellular device.
I asked because if otherwise noted, tablets do not have a vibrating feature. So I'm saying if there's something you know as far as how to enable it please share.
Because here's the think the OP was referring to the vibrate feature. If your comment had nothing to do with vibrate, why the comment? It's the same reason why people get mad when verizon reps comment on a post and the comment has nothing to do with the post.
the little switch on the side has been checked to where it's not orange correct?
does the phone have a half moon icon up at the top near the battery and time?
