I just updated my phone to the latest version.... but when restarting it asked for a passcode. I haven't had a passcode in at least six months and don't remember what my old one was. What can I do to access my phone?
Sound like you encrypted your phone and set a pass code. The only time you would need to out that in is on restarts.

You used a backup on iTunes?
