I'm having trouble charging my Iphone 4. Can I get it replaced or do I have to get a battery replacement?

I tried plugging it into different USB ports. It refused to turn on. I used a different charger. It still didn't turn on. I even cleaned out the phone and charger. It still refused to turn on.

So you get no response from the phone no matter what charger you plug into it?

If not then is the device still under warranty?

If not then you need to buy another phone or call apple to see if they can repair it

A well working device is a must! How long has this been occurring? May I ask if you've attempted to complete an alternate soft reset by holding down the power and home button simultaneously?

That's far too long, sassfrizzle! How long have you had your iPhone? Have you tried another charger? Has the phone been dropped or wet at all? Please elaborate.

i've had this phone for five years. i tried using other chargers and the phone still didn't turn on.

Great details sassfrizzle! Have you ever had the battery replaced? The phone has a working life of 400 charges. Therefore, the battery may need to be replaced altogether, which can only be done by Apple. You can reach out to Apple and make an appointment to see if they can get this fixed. http://www.apple.com/
