Just had what appears to be an in-app phishing scam pop up - anyone else seen something like this?

I started a new thread and found an answer.
This is not a device issue or application. This is called 'Ransomware'.
The site is populating a fake popup indicating you won a prize. This locks down the web browser, rendering the browser useless. The only way to remove this pop up is to clear the data from the browser via Settings>Applications>Application Manager>Chrome>Delete Data
