Placed a new SIM in an Ipad 4 - service activated and LTE is working.
After many hours - the cell number still shows as "unknown"
If I log into the plan on the Ipad, the cell number is right at the top.
This is going to an executive, so if he has trouble and needs to call Verizon, the first question they will ask him is the cell number.
An online search returned a result of a man that says Verizon needs to re-push a profile to it?
Can I get more details if this is true?
We definitely want that iPad to be ready to go when you hand it over and we're happy to help. We're already making progress if the device is working with LTE. However, to ensure the device activates let's make sure WiFi is disabled and then go to Settings, General, Reset and we can try two options.
