I recently bought an Iphone 6 plus used and after i installed it and was able to make calls. i kept getting a message on the phone saying, "Iphone is not Activated. contact your carrier if it continues" which it's Verizon. This pops up every 15 min. or so. I contacted the owner and he said that he had no problems. Apple doesn't even know how to fix it. I called verizonwireless and she told me she has no clue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ensuring your phone is working correctly is our goal, steveod66. Let's get to the bottom of this. Please clarify what you meant by "installed it". Was it changed on your online account? Does it show Verizon service in the top left corner?

Installed it meaning when i got it, I installed from the start. The previous owner is a verizon customer and he told me he called verizon and verified that he was selling his phone. The phone works fine, just the message that pops up is annoying. Thanks.

Do you have a SIM activated to your account in it?

Try logging into your MyVerizon account to see if the sim card number (ICCID) matches the one that is in your phone. If it does not match then change it to the one that is in the device for proper activation.

Was this ever solved? I have a similar problem. I have an iPhone 5C and an iPhone 4. The 5C screen broke so I went back to using the 4. Fixed the 5C screen and reactivated it, but now every 3 or so minutes I get the "iPhone is not activated" message. Extremely annoying. From what I can tell everything seems to be working as far as service goes.
