Customer Service.
On 9/29/2014, I purchased an Ipad air for $629.99. I also purchased
the Logitech Keyboard Folio which says is for Ipad air for $99.99. By the
way, my purchase was made at a store with a sales person. I know it has been
quite some time, but I just took out my keyboard for the first time. To my
dismay, this keyboard is in no way compatible with my Ipad. The chord it
came with, doesn't fit whatsoever. I believe this should have been something
the salesperson should have known. I would really like a compatible keyboard.
Please Advise
What I Should Do At This Point.
Thank You, Sara Dickran

That is a bluetooth keyboard so once it is connected to the device (wirelessly) it is fully compatible. The cable is a micro usb cable used only to charge the battery in the keyboard so you would plug the larger end into a usb charger or computer to charge.

I second dilbertaz. From your description, you have the right product.
The cord was not designed to plug into the ipad, but a standard usb charger (including the one for the ipad), or a computer and only to charge the battery on the keyboard.
The keyboard connects with bluetooth. Here is the directions if you do not have them:
