When I plug it in, nothing happens. I cleaned out the port w/ a toothpick & alcohol, and it worked for a day, but now it's stopped connecting again. I've tried jiggling the plug, have tried several different chargers and cords.
Take it to an Apple Store and let the Genius Bar take a look. Once you've cleaned out the port like you described it's time to dig deeper for a solution and the Apple Store is your best bet.
Yikes. Being able to charge a phone is a vital aspect of the phone.
Were you trying to plug it in to a wall outlet? Does the charger fit loosely or are the prongs bent or broken at all?
