NEW Apple Music ID wont

I have been trying for the past week to get into Apple music. I created a new ID, however when I go to log into the app it says "An account exists with that ID" the rep told me to create the ID on appleid.apple.com so I did.  How do I then use it to log into the app without getting this message?

It’s saddening to hear about the trouble you’ve been having with the Apple Music service, PETMOU65. You’re in a great place to get some expert help.
