Need help activating iphone 5c

I was trying to activate my new iPhone 5c because my old iPhone 4s broke. I accidentally told Verizon to send me a new sim card and now it wont let me activate my new phone until the new sim card comes in. I don't want to wait for the new sim card to come in because this phone already has a sim card and I am phoneless until I activate the new phone because my old phone broke. What can I do?

If it won't let you activate online, then take it to a Verizon store to get it activated.
