I signed up for international plan before leaving on trip. I am in Thailand and will not recognize local carrier. Can use with wifi, but no cell service. We stopped over in South Korea and phone recognized local carrier and worked there.
Any ideas? Have tried easy ones (turn on and off, hard restart on phone) tried to turn off automatic option to find local carrier and get error that local carrier list cannot be loaded. Thanks
Staying in contact while you are traveling is important Cmsf. We want to make sure your phone is working for you. Let's check this out. Are you using your Verizon Wireless SIM card or did you get a card from a local carrier? Are the roaming settings turned on with your phone? Settings>Cellular>Roaming>Make sure both Voice and Data are set to ON.
