Over useage

I don't understand how the heck we are using so much data! I log onto wifi everywhere! This sucks! Can I use my Verizon points to cut my bill down?

I don't believe points can be used to reduce your outstanding payment to VZW...but I have been offered 1GB of additional data for my current cycle if I chose to burn 5,000 points.  I'm not sure if this is being offered to everyone but I know some other folks have seen the advertisement when logged into MyVZW...
