IiPhone 6S Plus is intermittently not reviving calls or showing missed calls. Going straight to voice mail. Is anyone experiencing this?

Have not experienced this. Do you have a strong signal in your area at the times this is occurring? Is it possible you accidentally turned on Do Not Disturb? (It's easy to do as I've accidentally done it a few times when pulling up the actions menu.

Not-ringing,
We want to make sure that you receive all your calls. Kaebly does make a good point to check your “Do Not Disturb” option. However, if this is not the case, let us complete a few troubleshooting steps to get your phone ringing. When did you start having this issue with your service? Does this happen in a particular location ? Send us your area zip code to

Also make sure the ringer/silent switch has not been accidentally turned off. It's a small manual switch in the upper left corner. To turn ON the switch is moved in the position towards the display, if you see a orange or red color looking at the switch it means it's in the OFF position.

Thank you all for your responses. The ringer/silent switch is set appropriately. When I am out of a service area it does go straight to voice mail and shows no missed calls. However, intermittently...actually a couple of times while I had it in front of me I see the call pop up and it goes straight to voice mail. No missed call.

Kaebly also made a good point in - do you have a strong signal, and you mentioned it happens in that situation, have also seen that at the Apple forum in regard to this.
There's a Call Forwarding you might want to take a look at in Settings > Phone > Verizon Services not absolutely sure of this but think it should be set to disabled or it will or can send to voice mail?

That only tells you the code to dial to disable call forwarding (*73). I would suggest contacting Apple if a solution can't be found. Perhaps they'll know what to do.

Go to setting and check do not disturb make sure its off then go to sound and remove vibrate or silent and put ringer. Also a good thing to do is make sure software is up to date. Also on the side of the volume rocker the silent button on the phone is off. Try to play around with setting it might work. Also try to thing what you did wrong before the phone started to act this way.
