We recently added a line from AT&T to our Verizon plan. The old AT&T phone (iPhone 4) is still receiving some phone calls and texts, however the new Verizon phone (iPhone 5S) is also receiving some phone calls and texts. Does anyone know how to stop the AT&T phone from receiving incoming texts and calls? No outgoing calls or texts can be made from the old AT&T phone.

We definitely want to make sure you only receive messages to the device that you use. Do you know if the previous phone was using iMessage? If so, you can deregister the previous phone to ensure the messages do not continue to send to that device. See Apple's site to see how here https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage.
