Service is not working!

I have an IPhone 6s and my bill is paid and up to date and for some reason my service is not working. Sometimes it will kick on and work for a while but then it goes back to having no service. I've been having this problem since I paid the bill. It just says "searching..." In the top left hand corner. Every once in a while it will start working but currently I can not text or make phone calls or anything at all, the only thing I can do is use wifi to use iMessage and Internet.

You should have excellent service with that device. First thing to try is turning it off for a minute and then power it back on. If that doesn't help, here is a handy troubleshooting tool for your iPhone 6s. http://vz.to/1Ovv4h8

Turn off the phone, take out the SIM card by opening little tray on left side with straightened small paper clip. Rub contacts with microfiber cloth, replace and try again.

Yes, it's always worked really well wherever I've gone and I have great service, but now it's just not working at all.
