Spam/porn texts from gmail addresses

Spam texts are a nuisance that affects all mobile carriers, and there will never be a 100% failsafe way to prevent them simply because how can you know if the person sending you a message is someone you actually know or not? The post office is unable to tell what mail you receive would be considered junk mail, so they send it all to you so that you can make that decision. With this latest spam method of using a throwaway email address to text phone numbers (all carriers have this option, Vtext is just the name for ours), you still have the same option as any other spam text to report it. Just like how Call Filter was improved through reporting spam before, reporting the email and text message will allow it to further improve. Then why do you offer a selection in blocks tat claims it will block all text messages from emails? Doesnt matter anyway if selected it doesnt work. Seems to me if selected it should work.  Ive been forwarding these with a screen shot and the gmail account to 7726 so selection 10 has been noticed.

How about just allow us to block  ALL messages that originate from the web and originating from ANY email as is indicated on your website?

I am a monthly subscriber and still no fix for texts spam which all come from different and changing g mail accounts.  Anyone looking to join class action suit against VZW PM me .

Nice try customer support. That link has been used so many times in the last year and a half that its getting old. I would think you customer support people would do a little research and see that there is numerous threads out here with hundreds of post of people complaining about the same issue. Just got a couple more of these texts FROM GMAIL ACCOUNTS myself tonight. I also have a Verizon Visa card I think its time to throw it in the drawer and quit using it.
