My iPhone 5c broke and I have an old 4s I would like to switch to but I would like to do it without talking to an operator can I do this on my own or do I have to have operator?

If the SIM cards are the same, just take the one out of the broken phone and put it in the working phone.

You'll need a micro SIM for the 4s and a nano SIM for the 5c.

They will activate it at the store when you get the appropriate sized sim card.
