This has been going on for a few months. This is quite frustrating.

I reset my iPhone to factory options and have tried everything Apple could recommend. Is there a Verizon switch that needs to be set? Thanks.

How long are you keeping the phone turned off for ?

I was turning it off around 10pm and then back on around 6am.
