I have a very simple (not smart) phone on Verizon. Since the smartphone upgrade to IOS 11, I am getting blank text messages from people who are trying to text me. I can get very short (4 or 5 words) messages, but the longer texts are coming through blank. any ideas?
Very strange. I'd suggest backing up your device and doing a factory data reset. Set your device up as new and see if you still have the same problem. I'm on iOS 11 and have not experienced this issue. What model iPhone are you using?

Help is here! A software update is supposed to enhance your phone, not hinder it. Let’s figure out what is happening with these blank texts. Bd94s10, thank you for your suggestions. What exact iPhone model are you using? Are the blank texts coming from just certain contacts & do you know if these texts are coming from only iPhone users?

good luck [removed] networks. IOS [removed] get it together and do what you advertise. same issues here, phone messages, phone calls, data, dosent matter. fix the network issues.
