I recently unlocked an AT&T Iphone to use as my phone on Verizon. I have requested it to be unlocked and upon restoring the device through iTunes, it confirms that it is unlocked with a "Success! Your Iphone has been unlocked!' message.
However, when I try to switch my device by first adding the IMEI number for the phone, an error appears saying that the device is not compatible with the Verizon Network.

The AT&T iPhone 7 model is A1778. The Verizon Wireless iPhone 7 model is A1660.
The A1778 model doesn't have any CDMA radios for the Verizon Wireless network which also mean the IMEI numbers associated with that model weren't loaded in the Verizon Wireless database as compatible models.

Thanks for your reply! Does that mean that this phone is worthless to me then as a Verizon Wireless user?
