Apple says it needs to be replaced. Anyone know if Verizon is doing replacements?
This is not what we like to hear, Mukka87. Let's get your iPad Pro up and running. You stated your iPad is a paperweight. What seems to be going on with the device? We encourge you to reset the device by putting it on iTunes and pressing and holding the home button at the same time. This will allow you to reset the device.

Verizon may do replacements, but you're better off using Apple's Manufacturer's Warranty to get it replaced, especially if you have an Apple Store in your area. Alternatively, the iPad can probably be recovered as soon as Apple releases the next version of iOS, since this bricking issue is known to them. You'll need iTunes to upgrade the iPad.
Keep in mind Verizon will send you a refurbished iPad. Apple will replace it with a new device.
