I see several related threads in apple forums and here related to signal issues with new iphone 6 phones on Verizon. I have issues when my phone indicates 5 bubbles LTE, but mysteriously drops as soon as I launch an app that uses the cell network. The signal will drop to 1x, and then drop completely, and then bounce back up to LTE. Sometimes it does this several times before I get a consistent signal back. This occurs when I'm using Facebook, Spotify or any app that uses the cell network for data. Most of the time this is just an annoyance, but several times now I've lost my Strava data completely due to the signal issue occurring when I try to save an activity I've just finished. The Strava app doesn't handle this well it seems and I lose.
Please tell me what Verizon is doing to fix this issue? Are you working with Apple to identify this issue? How can I get updated on the progress Verizon is making to fix this. This seems to be an issue for a lot of iphone 6 users. Please advise.

casturm,
I am truly sorry to hear of the issues you are having with service on your device. We do not want you to keep losing information. What zipcode are you in? Have you always had service issues in the area? Do you notice any service issues with calls or text?

Yes this issue does occur when calling and texting .. mostly it's when I
dial a number, the connection is dropped and I have to re-dial the number
and when I send a text, the signal will drop and the text will fail to
deliver. Resending eventually works, but can take several tries.
These issues have just started with my new iphone 6 that I got just a few
weeks ago. My wife has the same phone and has similar issues. We both
had been using Verizon Android phones with no issues previously. My
zipcode is 97213, but I have this issue all over the Portland area.

Thanks for the insight! Are Voice & Data both on under cellular? Settings > Cellular > LTE > Data Only

Thank you for checking the settings. In your Cellular Settings lets change Data only to Voice & Data, then test your applications for issue that was occurring. Also check to see if your iPhone software is up to date. You can view this by going into Settings>General>Software Update.
