how can I disable internet usage on my child's iphone 5s... tried going thru internet service (uverse) but cannot download the parental controls
they are no help either

thanks, I could limit data on the verizon site, but there were not parameters for the internet. so even if she had no data, she could still use an app to chat and be up all night on her phone... this ourpact seems to do the trick and can be put on any device

Just remember that when you limit her data to leave for a buffer. For example if your data limit is 6GB and you have 3 phones and want to limit all of them make them all 1.5 GB because data doesn't get reported immediately so they can still essentially go over.
As for wi-fi the app was a good choice. The only other thing to do was to change the wi-fi password and input it each time etc.
