iPhone 5 not connecting since i updated to ios 10.1.1

Updated iOS to 10.1.1 and upon restart, my phone will not connect to the Verizon network. I have taken out the SIM card and put it back in. Rebooted and checked the data settings. Everything looks like it should but still no connection.
