Help! My iPhone 5c is not staying connected to wifi. This happens both when I am at home and at work. I will pick my phone up after not using it for a while and it will be at a black screen (power saving mode). Once I press the main button it will come up to my lock screen and I will see in the top left corner that it is on LTE and not wifi even though I am either at home or work where it should always be connected to wifi. Once I enter my passcode and get back in it will come up and sometime then connect back to wifi or I have to go slide up the bottom menu and disable/enable wifi then it works, and occasionally I even have to go into Settings, Wifi and then all of a sudden the iPhone will reconnect on it's own to wifi. This is troubling because I am almost going over my data limit this month and when I look at a report of my data usage my phone is using data in the middle of the night when I am sleeping and should be connected to wifi! Verizon if you are watching these forums help me out here and/or I will be calling support soon too. Thanks for any ideas or help!

I would try going in to your wifi while connected, tapping on your network and choosing "forget this network" and readding it after removing. Hope it helps!

Bryan333,
I am sorry to hear of your device issues. By the way the iPhone was designed when the iPhone is in sleep mode it will disconnect from wifi to conserve battery. This is the way the manufacture has designed the phone to work. The issues with not being able to connect again once the phone is no longer in sleep mode is odd. Have you tested the wonderful suggestion from nicholasbranson ? This will allow your network to reset. You can also remove the wifi network to readd them by resetting network settings... http://vz.to/1pcTH4V

I have the same issue with my daughter's 5c.
We have gotten two replacement devices and they all drop the wifi or never even connect. We have tested the wifi, used other phones, and been through all kinds of troubleshooting with verizon and apple (afetr verizon basically threw its hands up). All to no avail.
Any suggestions?
