My 2 year old neice got ahold of my moms iPhone 5c and now her phone is locked.  She has been on the phone with Verizon trying to re activate the phone all day. The problem is with signing onto iTunes. She put the email and current password in and it keeps telling her the password is wrong. They even tried putting the phone back to factory settings and it wouldn't do that. Any ideas???

If the phone is password locked the only way to unlock it is to restore with iTunes.  However, she needs to have her Apple ID and password to do that.

does she sync with iTunes on a computer?  (Best way to restore)

if she can't access her iTunes account with the password, she will need to reset her password (which involves using her email address)

9 times out of 10 the password is being typed wrong (it is case sensitive)
