I have the Verizon icloud app on my 5s, but it does not load

Have you tried signing out of the app and back in? Are you using the correct password?

It won't open up my phone. Once you tap it it goes through its initiation and the craps out to the home screen

I would try removing the app and then going back in the App Store and download it again.
