Hello Judy551574! Yes the iPhone 4s can be used in the UK. In order to enable the global feature on your phone, you'll need a global sim card. You can verify if you already have a sim card by going to Settings > General > About > ICCID info (if available, the sim card is inserted in the phone). Then we'll need to verify that the international feature is activated on your account. You can also decide upon adding on a global data plan if you plan on using internet, etc..
