Do you mean you stopped receiving iMessages (blue messages) and now you are only receiving SMS text messages (green messages)?

Go to Settings/Messages and make sure iMessage is turned on. If it is turned on, turn it off and then turn in back on after waiting 10 seconds or so. Make sure you have a data signal (if you have data turned off and you are not on wifi, messages will be sent SMS (green). Also make sure you are texting someone that has an Apple device AND has iMessages turned on.
