it doesn't show any new messages are available.  But if i call in, as like today it said i had 10 new messages

sniskach, thanks for those details. Make sure that data is enabled on in Settings>Cellular>Enable Data ON. Please be advised that you must connect to our network in order for Visual Voice mail to work.
