To get insurance added to your line, you can sign into your My Verizon account. Once signed in you can then hover over Plan near the upper part of the screen, then click on Add-ons and apps. On the next screen that loads for you the insurance options will show for you to select, as long as your phone was purchased within the past 30 days.
