Screen flickers when trying to open the phone, then freezes, and then when it does respond, the apps open and close several times on its own. I have completed the usual hard reset, restore, and worked within the settings but nothing has helped. The insurance I pay for says this isn't a covered problem and won't initiate a claim. My pay off is $200 yet.
Rhythm41, this is an odd thing to happen to an iPhone. What model iPhone do you have? When did this start happening? Is there any physical or liquid damage to the phone?

This is odd but it does happen!! I have gone through 2phones with this complaint on iphone6. Finally had to pay that discussing cost in insurance and felt I need to be reimbursed for it. Shame on Verizon to act like they don't know what your talking about. # Hmmm!?
