I called Verizon and they couldn't figure it out. When I receive a phone call, 9 times out of 10, I don't get the option to accept or decline the call. if I don't want the call, I have to answer and then hangup. I've turned my phone off and on and try to do so at least once a week. The last time, it said touch id is not available.
You could also just not answer instead of answering and then hanging up.
We know there are times that you may not be able to take a call, EuEu. When your iPhone is locked, and your screen is black, when a call comes in, your screen will only show the 'slide to answer' option. You would have to press the power key twice to send the call to voicemail. Is this what you are experiencing?
