Major debacle at Merritt College Stadium for Oakland Roots game in Oakland CA today. This area has events and daily use by students and soccer recreational leagues. Hundreds to thousands of people per day.
It's not safe to drop and pick up your kids for soccer practice. They can't be reached.
Today no one could have their tickets scanned for the event. 3500 people. Hundreds and hundreds of Verizon customers.
Thing is, this area has not been covered for 10-15 years after many complaints.
If it's been known to be a poor Verizon area for as long as you claim, it would be irresponsible of parents to use Verizon instead of whoever does give the best coverage in that area.
Yeah, Verizon should do better, but at the same time...
