My dad has the iPhone 4S and the XL plan, which should include the US, Mexico, and Canada. However, when crossing the border into Canada, my family's phones changed to Bell and kept working, whereas his stayed on Verizon and doesn't work. His roaming voice and data are on, can someone help?
A Verizon 4S doesn't support HSPA or LTE and since CDMA is now shutdown in Canada, the 4S is not compatible with current technology being used in Canada-- or anywhere else in the world for that matter. He needs a newer iPhone, 5 and above will work.
