Verizon $830 trade-in promo
Initiated purchase of new phone and trade online in March 2024, took phone to Verizon to have it shipped to warehouse. Person in store said they initially valued phone at $415, and $830 value would be adjusted once received at warehouse. After a month, I contacted customer service because I had not seen any updates on my account, and I was told yes I should be receiving $830 for trade. Another month goes by and no change. I have had 2 other long calls with customer service where I was told I would be receiving $830 credit to account, and that the necessary adjustments had been made to my account. Last call was yesterday, I was told “the system” was not allowing customer service to make necessary changes and that I would have to call in each month and have customer service adjust my bill. As the customer, they want me to call in each month and inform them of a billing flaw in their system, in order for me to receive a promotion that they offered, that is not acceptable. I am done with Verizon.
