After changing my phone plan to family plan, I no longer receive OTP messages on my iPhone 15 Pro

I recently added my phone to a family plan, and since then my iPhone 15 Pro is not receiving OTP 2FA messages from my work VPN. Even after checking with my corporate networking and firewall team, nobody at Verizon seems to be able to know how to fix this (even after 7+ hours on the phone with their call center support). Has anyone else run into this before??
