Why is my iPhone 6 plus showing a hotspot now.. a working hotspot.. I never set it up or talked to them about it.. but its there.. is it free now? I have the old unlimited data that I was grandfathered in.. and never changed anything on my plan I have had for 10 years now..

You've always had this capability on your device. However, recently, due our nations response to COVID-19, we have applied a courtesy 15 GB's of Mobile Hotspot data allowance to assist you during this difficult time.
