Hello! I started with an apple 13 pro then decided to try the android pixel 8. After two months I decided to switch back to my apple 13 pro. I also decided to do the service swap myself from the Verizon app. Initially the transfer back to my iPhone seemed like it was going as it should (it had me transfer all my things from the android to the iPhone). Unfortunately, I could not immediately get service to the iPhone and had to go into Verizon to erase the eSIMs and add a new physical SIM. Now my iPhone is not receiving texts from all android users- I will text the individual from my iPhone, which the individual is receivingโฆ but when they respond I do not get anything. I decided to connect the pixel 8 to my WiFi, and the responses from those I texted from the iPhone are coming through on the pixel. A few android contacts switched off RCS chat in our thread and I was able to get their texts to my iPhone, but some android phones donโt have RCS option and I am unable to get them to come through.
Hey there, Quinn2316. We definitely want to make sure that you're able to receive SMS from Android devices on your re-activated iPhone 13. Is there any information on your Pixel 8 that hasn't already been transferred to your iPhone 13? What signal do you see on your iPhone13?
