Evertime my I Phone 4s gets a text, my wqife gets the same text on her phone

Are you both using the same Apple ID?

Are you using the same Apple ID on both phones?
Are you using iMessage?
Are both phones using that same contact information in iMessage?

Go to the iMessage settings and uncheck the appropriate email addresses and/or phone numbers.
