I purchased a new IPad through Verizon and received a link for the 6 months trial. However when I click the link redeem now it says cannot be found.

Hi. I purchased an iPad Air in December for the same promotion. However, I have never received an email and customer service (4 different agents to date) seem ignorant to the promotion, nor how to redeem.
How can we redeem this offer?
I’m having the same issue except my promotion was part of the monthly rewards through verizonup but when I click on the “use now” link it does nothing but load the Apple News app with the plus stories still blocked off. When I contacted Verizon via live chat, they said I’d have to call this number which is frustrating because as technologically advanced civilization has become, I should be able to do everything on my phone without actually having to call anyone lol seems ironic but I hate talking on the phone since I’m on it all day for work. Anyway, if anyone has any ideas on how we can redeem this promotion, please let us know. Thank you!!

Don’t bother calling Verizon, they will just tell you to call Apple Support. I’m having the same issue, when I click the redeem offer I get the App Store pop up that show the free subscription offer and then payment not processed. Dead end. Just like the dead end I hit when I called Verizon For help.
Tkparker961, we're sorry to hear of your troubles. Yes, in some cases promotion issues need to be resolved through the original party, in this case, Apple. To make sure we're aligned though, are you running into an issue form using Verizon up rewards or the new device purchase promo?

I was having the same issue numerous times on different days with "Payment Not Processed!" message until I closed the Apple News app on iPhone. (This was after ensuring my iOS was up to date.) Once the app was closed, voila, the rewards code was accepted. Issue resolved.
making sure that you can take advantage of the promotions offered is priority. I signed up for the Apple News + trial myself, and am enjoying. Do not worry, we will help you figure out what is going on. When you are trying to start the free subscription, can you tell us what steps you took? It does require a valid Apple ID/password and even payment method on file. You can still cancel the subscription before billing starts, if you are not satisfied.

Well, after spending countless hours within the past 2 months chatting with both Verizon and Apple then talking on the phone with them for a combined 2 hours to no avail, I was about ready to give up on this reward until I decided to do a little more research one last time. That's when I came across another thread on here concerning this same issue and someone mentioned if your device does not have the latest iOS14, this promo will not work. It's not just a matter of having the latest update that your phone is compatible with, you actually have to use a device with the latest iOS14 on it. Since I have an old iphone 6, my software will only update to iOS12. Fortunately, I was able to login to my apple account using one of my family member's devices that does have iOS14 and when I clicked the promo in the verizon app, the link finally worked. I then refreshed my account on my phone and was able to finally enjoy this promo. Very thankful for the person who discovered the answer and I hope it helps anyone else who is having this problem. 🙂

I ended up paying $9.99 for a month of Apple News+ as the reward would not accept now the 'Use now' button is grayed out. So far the first attempt at using a My Verizon reward has cost me $10.
I was also offered this as a Verizon up perk. It said to activate by June 30 but now I can’t find a link anywhere.
