I already linked apple one to my Apple ID, but my Verizon account says my apple one perk still requires action. When I click it, it sends me a link, and when I click the link, it says it is already registered to my Apple ID. I am not sure why the Verizon app says it still needs action to use the apple one perk

It seems this has been an ongoing issue with Verizon for quite some time. Here I am on January 31, 2025, and they still haven’t found a solution.
From what I’ve gathered, the issue specifically affects customers who have previously had Apple-related perks through Verizon. Something in their system is causing it to get stuck, and their so-called “technical support” has been completely ineffective in resolving it. What they actually need is a systems engineer to pinpoint where the problem is occurring on Verizon’s backend—until they do that, this simply isn’t fixable.
If you’re dealing with this issue, save yourself the time and frustration and go directly to Apple instead. Verizon clearly isn’t capable of addressing it.
